Stress Management topic of Lunch & Learn at North Haven Memorial Library Thursday, November 20 - 10/22/2008

Wallingford, CT, October 21, 2008.......There are many factors that can cause stress in our lives, but unfortunately, there is no single way to relieve it.  Because everyone reacts to stress differently, people need to develop their own coping strategies.

At the Thursday, November 20 Lunch and Learn program at the North Haven Memorial Library, Dr. Karen Prestwood, a staff physician at Masonic Healthcare Center in Wallingford, will present an educational program on stress management that will offer tips and techniques that can help people learn how to handle the everyday stress in their lives.

Masonic Healthcare Center is an affiliate of Masonicare, Connecticut's leading not-for-profit provider of senior healthcare and retirement living, which provides Lunch and Learn programs for seniors and their caregivers as a public service.

The Lunch and Learn program begins at 11:30 am and includes a complimentary lunch.  The program is free, but people are asked to make a reservation by calling the library at 203-239-5803 by Tuesday, November 18.
