Free Lunch & Learn Program December 9 to Discuss Coping With Loss During the Holidays - 11/6/2008
East Hartford, CT, November 6, 2008......Connecticut VNA Partners and East Hartford Health and Rehabilitation Center are sponsoring a free Lunch & Learn program for the community entitled "Mythical Merriment - Coping With Loss During the Holidays" to be held on Tuesday, December 9, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the East Hartford Health and Rehabilitation Center, 51 Applegate Lane, East Hartford. The program will include a complimentary "heart healthy" lunch provided by the Center.
The holiday season, with its many parties and family gatherings, can be an especially difficult time for those grieving the loss of a loved one. Peggy Redduker, bereavement coordinator of Connecticut VNA Partners' Hospice, will present an informative program with suggestions that can help ease the pain and make coping with grief during the holidays a little easier.
Reservations are required, so please call Mary Acquaro, Director of Admissions at the East Hartford Health and Rehabilitation Center, at 860-568-7520 by December 8 to reserve your space.
