“Stress Management ” Topic of December 2 Lunch & Learn Program at Wallingford Public Library - 11/11/2008
Wallingford, CT, November 11, 2008 .......There are many factors that can cause stress in our lives, but unfortunately, there is no single way to relieve it. Because everyone reacts to stress differently, people need to develop their own coping strategies.
At the Tuesday, December 2 Lunch and Learn program at the Wallingford Public Library, 200 North Main Street, Wallingford, Dr. Karen Prestwood, a staff physician at Masonic Healthcare Center in Wallingford, will present an educational program on stress management that will offer tips and techniques that can help people learn how to handle the everyday stress in their lives.
Masonic Healthcare Center is an affiliate of Masonicare, Connecticut's leading not-for-profit provider of senior healthcare and retirement living, which provides Lunch and Learn programs for seniors and their caregivers as a public service.
The Lunch and Learn program begins at 11:30 a.m. and includes a complimentary lunch. The program is free, but people are asked to make a reservation by calling Beth Devlin at the Library at 203-265-6754 by Wednesday, November 26.
