Annual Silent Auction at Masonic Healthcare Center Features Beautiful, One-of-a-kind Christmas Trees - 11/19/2008

Trees on Display Dec 1 Through December 19

Wallingford, CT, November 17, 2008.......The Twentieth Annual Festival of Trees at Masonic Healthcare Center in Wallingford will be in full swing beginning December 1. The very popular event features a silent auction of dozens of unique, beautifully decorated tabletop trees.

The lighted trees, designed and trimmed by teams of Masonicare employees, volunteers and residents, will be on continuous display in the lobby of the Healthcare Center until Friday, December 19.  Everyone is welcome to visit the Center any day between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. to view the trees and place a bid.  Bids will be closed at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 19, when the highest bidders will be announced and winners can claim their holiday tree.  Winners will be notified if they can't be present on that date.  All proceeds from the auction will be used to support a host of activities for the residents of Masonic Healthcare Center.

As always, this year's Festival of Trees features a variety of unique and imaginative decorations.  The variety of creative themes and decorations will appeal to every taste and delight adults and children of all ages.   One of the trees may be just what you're looking for to complete your holiday decorating or the perfect gift for that very special person.
